Jorge Albinagorta, Director and Owner of LatinOcean, is also the firm’s principal consultant. He holds a Bachelor in Economics degree from the Catholic University (Lima) and is an Executive MBA graduate from the AGSM at the University of New South Wales (’97).

Jorge’s corporate career spans 20 years. He started out as Business Analyst for a TV network in Lima - his native city - then joining an investment firm with operations across South America, performing treasury operations, business planning and economic analysis duties.

In 1990, Jorge migrated to Australia and was recruited by IBM Asia Pacific. In the eight years that followed, he moved from the management accounting function into the commercial and sales management areas.
In 1999, he joined the recruitment industry after Andrew Banks - of Morgan and Banks fame - made him a offer he could not refuse, caught the Internet bug, and has not shaken it out since. Nowadays, Jorge also serves as the Australia Business Services Manager for recruit.net, is a freelance writer to HRSEO and a contributor to Australia's Recruiter Daily.
