If you are a contractor or subcontractor doing business with the federal government, you may need to keep electronic resumes and obtain EEO demographic information on each applicant. A new “Internet Applicant” regulation, effective February 6, 2006, defines who an Internet applicant is and sets forth what records must be retained.
