My Company is on the brink of assisting our clients with their international needs. Can someone please let me know what steps i have to take to start recruiting internationally? Or if there are any companies that I would be able to partner up with that already have this ability.

For online recruiting, pretty much every country has a few providers (Naukri in India eg.). If you are already using Monster, they are already in most European countries plus several in Asia and are usually one of the better options in those local markets.

yah nowdays most of people started using the internet so online marketing and online selling going to the big roll upcmeing years ============================== c.mahe
Did anyone out there give a try to Wide Circles or WideCircles. They are new word of mouth advertising platform, apparently they can push massive amount of messages through social network mediums like forums, blogs, wiki's and so on. They say that they only bill for posts active for minimum of 5 days and price seems pretty affordable. I am going to give Wide Circles aka WideCircles a try since I am tired of PPC fraud.

As the December issue of Human Resources Executive notes: “The percentage of recruiters using search engines to learn more about job candidates increased to 83 percent in 2007, from 75 percent two years earlier, while the percentage of recruiters who eliminated a candidate based on online information jumped to 43 percent, from 26 percent in 2005.”
Just think, almost all of the recruiters (and probably most company hiring managers) are checking you out on the Internet. What will they find? Will it change their perception of you in a positive or a negative way?
With this in mind, it’s critical that you get out ahead of them and proactively manage your online presence. Here are a few ways to make sure your online presence is aligned with your goals: - Do an Internet search on yourself to see what comes up. - Check your MySpace, FaceBook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social and business networking pages. - Look at this like a mini (yet important) research project. - Think of other ways to find yourself online.

Most of you probably know the concept of an elevator pitch. It is a brief and concise overview that you could deliver in the time span of an elevator ride (say, thirty seconds or 100-150 words). The term is typically used in the context of an entrepreneur pitching an idea to a venture capitalist or a sales rep who finds him/herself face to face with a decision maker.
So, why can’t a job seeker use the same concept? It’s powerful (and confidence-building) to be prepared to deliver your own personal elevator pitch.

Since we are talking about good and bad interview questions, here is a link to an article on MSN/CareerBuilder in which I was quoted dealing with the use of brainteaser or logic questions in an interview. My blog (http://gregmoran.wordpress.com/) has a link to all of my interview notes and a pretty detailed discussion of the how and why behind brainteaser interviews.

Thanks for your contributions so far. Here are a couple new ones in the "worst" category and keep the interview questions coming!
-"What type of vehicle do you drive?" - From a manager who believes he can ascertain meaningful personality traits from the type of car you cart around in.
- "Can I see your hands?' - from a business owner and part-time palmist who thought he could determine my fit in his company by the landscape of my palms.
- "I once asked a candidate why they were relocating to the Jacksonville area the answer was 'I have some trouble i got into in Tampa. I am trying to get away from it. Will this be a problem in the hiring process"
- "Being that we are prone to Hurricanes on the Florida coast I also had a candidate from Michigan ask me if there were 'round shaped houses available in the area should he relocate.' He then proceeded to explain wind drag and the differences between a round home and a traditional home.
- "I also had a candidate ask me if anybody else was interviewing for a position in accounting. She claimed that she was not competitive and would not be interested if she wasn't the only one interviewing."
